Does anybody know if it is easy to get a job in teaching Social Sciences? Please let me know.

I don’t know if you have a degree in social sciences or are thinking about it. I minored in social sciences and majored in education. If you are thinking about teaching maybe you might go that route. If you want to teach history in college I would say if you had a masters and/or a Ph.d you would be able to find a job no problem.
In elementary schools the teacher normally teaches all academic areas. Middle and high school is a different story.
I would suggest looking at websites that list jobs for teachers of history/social sciences and see what it looks like to you. Look into your specific area or the area you would like to move to.
Mmm I hear it’s hard. My professor has a Ph.D, went to UC Berkeley and UCLA, and still had a hell of a lot of trouble finding a job to teach History in the Los Angeles area.
The shortages are in science (physics, chemistry), math, and foreign languages.
