Aston’s School of Languages and Social Science is recognised as a leader in the UK, and was recently awarded 22 out of 24 for Teaching Quality. LANGUAGES We offer degrees in French, German and Spanish. Many of our students combine a language with a different subject, and a popular course at Aston is International Business and Modern Languages. Languages students at Aston spend the third year of their degree abroad on placement. This is a really valuable and exciting experience, and there’s lots of support on hand to help you find the placement that’s right for you. SOCIAL SCIENCES Our social science programmes include international relations, sociology and politics.
